Every month I'll post a new "taste" of Art Pepper's music as a FREE DOWNLOAD. These tastes are given away because they are "unreleasable" by virtue of the recording being cut off at beginning or end or by brief audio problems that occurred in the recording process.

This three-disc set is meant as an introduction to Art’s music. Or else it’s intended as a companion to the book, Straight Life (which is more concretely autobiographical). Or it’s a map of the development of an artist. At any rate, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it’s a wonderful collection of songs.

    ART PEPPER has been THE JAZZMAN of my life....i love his music....it is TIMELESS....he had SO MUCH SOUL.....
